How to participate in the IDEC
If you have got some interesting information to publish, please contact us. We will inform you of about the best way to elaborate data and services metadata depending of your situation and contents. Also, the CS IDEC will explain you which is the best way to publish these data at Internet with a WMS service, and others detailed questions.

How to contribute to IDEC
You can contribute to IDEC network publishing your geoinformation in a map server and elaborating data and services metadata. Also, you can offer web geoservices. The metadata will be published in the IDEC catalog.

- To publish metadata you can:
- Download the MetaD software (free), which is available into the specific section of this geoportal. You can create metadata and then send them us using the option included in MetaD.
- Fill a simple form that contains the main data to describe your geoinformation, which will be converted to correspont ISO metadata and published into IDEC catalog.
- To update your metadata you must repeat the process explained before.
- To publish geoinformation or geoservices into IDEC network:
- If you don't have any map server you can download and install a map server software, as for example the MiraMon, the MapServer or the Geoserver, among others. After, you can facilitate us your contact data and the URL service, at the same time you might send us the geodata metadata.
- If you have geoinformation published into a map server, you can send us the URL, the contact data and the geodata metadata.
- Also, you can send a (shp, dgn) file with geoinformation, which will published into the CS IDEC map server, the same case with the data metadata.
